Geirangerfjorden med fossefallene “De sju søstre” og “Friaren” samt høydegården Skageflå er en del av et verdensarv-område. Området gir gode muligheter for padling, men det er litt krevende å finne gode teltplasser. Mange “strender” er rasvifter og ikke egnet til å oppholde seg på (kart).

Geirangerfjorden with its waterfalls and old abandoned farms on the sloping meadows on the rock shelves high above the fjord is a world-heritage area. With great views and a dramatic landscape it is a nice destination for kayaking and hikes to the farmsites above the fjord. But campsites are few as many flat spots by the fjord are created by rock fall debris from above. Ask the locals for advice (map).
